This is the first in a series of scholarly books analyzing the fiction writings of Ayn Rand. Robert Mayhew has put together a strong list of Ayn Rand/Objectivist scholars to contribute their insight into Ayn Rand's We the Living.
Broken into two section, History/Literature-Philosophy, these essays discuss and analyze Rand's method of writing and their philosophical implications. Such essays include talk about Kira's (protagonist) family, music in the novel, the love triangle, possible Neichtze connection, and We the Living's tie to Atlas Shrugged.
There's much to be found in this book for all types of fans of Rand. This is indeed an important step in a scholarly analysis of Rand's fiction works.
