Good/No Jacket. -Ex-libris, bears the bookplate of political and civil liberties activists Dorothy Kirchwey Brown and Herman Larue Brown. Notes throughout, appear to be by H. Larue Brown (1883-1969). Small stains on front boards, no dust jacket. An important work with interesting provenance-Brown was a graduate of Harvard law, a Boston lawyer, and a friend of Holmes and Brandeis.
