Seller's Description:
Very good. Embark on a comprehensive exploration of engineering mechanics with "Engineering Mechanics: Dynamics" by J. L. Meriam and L. G. Kraige, presented in hardcover Sixth Edition in VG+ condition, complete with a sealed Student Access Code for added value. The covers are well-preserved, displaying only lightly rubbed corners, ensuring the durability of this essential textbook. The square and tight binding contributes to the book's overall integrity. Notably, an organization stamp, neatly marked out on the first page, signifies its prior institutional use without compromising the book's quality. This edition, known for its accuracy, clarity, and practical applications, has been a cornerstone in mechanics principles for over 50 years. In the new Sixth Edition, students can further enhance their problem-solving skills with a diverse range of engaging problems related to engineering design. Over 40% of the homework problems are new, and additional sample problems, along with more photographs linking theory to application, enrich the learning experience. Emphasizing the crucial skill of drawing free-body diagrams, the text facilitates the development of necessary visualization and problem-solving skills. The author, Glenn Kraige, is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech. A fellow member of the American Society for Engineering Education, he holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia. The book will be meticulously packaged for shipment, ensuring protection from the elements. A USPS electronic tracking number will be issued free of charge. For further information or additional images of the book, please feel free to contact us. 744 pages.
This book is good if you already have been taught dynamics before. I wouldn't try to teach myself dynamics from this book. Good reference for equations, derivations are explained, examples are kinda fuzzy when applied to the problems.
