I wanted to reduce animal protein in my diet and turned to the Great Bean. And what better place to turn than Elizabeth Berry's Great Bean Book! I stumbled upon this book in my midst of my search, and it has proven to be quite a valuable discovery! The book itself is quite elegant - I keep it close at hand just to delight at the pictures, enjoy the luxury of the paper quality, and to glean more information about different bean varieties.
