Chapter 4 establishes Laban's movement analysis framework as the basis of all movement learning and expands, with direct application to gymnastics, the components of the movement analysis framework introduced in chapter 1. Chapter 5 focuses on the foundational skills of balance. Chapter 6 progresses with more challenging balance experiences combined with weight transfer between balances, weight transfers using in-flight actions, and ends with educational gymnastics individual and partner sequences.
