Intrigued by the recent trend of scientists, journalists, philosophers, and teachers who have been ostracized and discredited for daring to suggest that humankind may be the product of intelligent design rather than a random fluke in the cosmic scheme of things, Ben Stein sets out on a journey to investigate the supposed persecution of the many by the select few. Stein asserts that in recent years, anyone who dares to question the idea that adaptation is responsible for the development of Earth's organisms is held to ridicule, and over the course of the film, he travels the globe to speak with the supporters of both theories, pondering the reasons why believing in a higher power has seemingly become a massive taboo in the eyes of educators and the media. Ben Stein highlights a number of well qualified scientists who have lost jobs, been disciplined and denied tenure because they reject the majority view about evolution.
He makes the connection of the evolutionary 'Survival of the Fittest' with Nazi Germany and other racist movements. For that he too was expelled as the commencement speaker for the University of Vermont. Apparently majority rule dominates the scientific community, not an open inquiry to discover the truth.

NO Intelligence allowed
Ben Stein never fails to make his point. You will not be disappointed by his intelligent way to keep your interest in what point he is making along with facts to support his subject.

the honesty is great
I bought more of these to share with others. The bias has delieberately been hidden for too long by the evolutionists. Truth is more important that being politically correct.
The scene with Richard Dawkins where he makes a fool out if himself is so good. I don't know how Ben kept from laughing out loud.

It was more of a documentary than movie. I was disappointed but someone else may like this type of movie.
