Not for Beginners Only
As an ESL teacher of adults I recommend this for intermediate students not beginners. It is an excellent supplement and "pencils on" text. Students immediately reenforce the grammar lesson by completing review exercises. In the writing section they compose sentences and paragraphs based on illustrations accompanied by vocabulary--all geared to adults. Each chapter also has reading and listening sections plus answer keys. Use it in class or for homework assignments. It will become a reference book to teacher and students alike. My classes love it.
