A true literary gem!
A fascinating read and insight into the human spirit. Greed vs. Virtue. The death scene of one main character is the most beautiful I have ever read and had me sobbing. If a reader has ever wondered if his life has meaning or made a difference to others, this is the book for you. Superbly written as only Taylor Caldwell can; but, remember to keep the dictionary alongside as her vocabulary is extensive.
