Dyer-Bennet's recordings had their place in their day, when folk records of any sort weren't that easy to come by. But several decades on, there's no getting around it: the man sounds prissy. On Vol. 2 he plays 13 traditional songs, accompanied by nothing other than his Spanish guitar.
