Lies flat with hints of separation before slightly misset foldout and plate 18 at p.96; binding overall strong and tight, though somewhat stiff, favoring several places throughout. Mild abrasion with touches of surface loss at softened spine ends and tips of bumped corners. Cloth and gilt otherwise clean and bright. Pages clean and unmarked. Bookplate of last owner mid front pastedown (some paste discoloration there and on facing ffep) with name/info prior owner above in corner. Scarce in original edition.
