Gleefully a German sprang forward but only to find Bertrand standing ready to defend the flag and avenge his father's death. After a severe struggle the Hun was sent staggering backwards mortally wounded, and Bertrand recaptured the flag - dearer to him than life itself. What did he do with it - what happened next?
