Good+ in Fair dust jacket. First edition. Hard cover published by Little, Brown and Co. in 1957. Blue covers with gilt lettering on spine. Spine is slightly cocked and is faded some. Corners of covers are slightly bumped and have some rubbing. Side edges of pages have a small blue stain at the upper corners. Book is in good plus condition. Dust jacket is in poor condition, with a faded spine, a large tear and crease at top in back, torn across bottom of spine with a tape repair, and with tears at the corners. DJ is scuffed and has edge wear. 8vo, 335 pages, 1.3 lb.; 8vo 8"-9" tall; 335 pages.

End sheets and paste downs toned with modest soiling. Pages are clean and near pristine. Dust jacket is sunned on spine panel and tattered and chipped. DJ flap is price clipped. DJ protected by a brand new, clear, acid-free mylar cover. We add mylar covers to all books with DJs to preserve the DJs and add luster to magnify their beauty.
