In a small, very poor village of Africa lives a five year old girl named Regina. Her heart's desire is to own a store bought toy. Missionaries from America visit the Big Village, but leave Regina 'heartbroken'. Dirty drinking water causes sickness to spread throughout the villages. The missionaries return with toys. Greater than this, they return with prayers for the people. That which happens to Regina causes lives to change forever. About the Author Kenneth Orr, the author of 'Dolls for Regina', began his life in praise and worship services. He was faithfully taken to church by his parents, William and Mary Lois Orr, from an infant through his teen years. As builders of real estate properties, Kenneth's parents influenced his love to build things and to use his creativity. He preached his first sermon at his home Church as a nine year old child. Throughout his life, Kenneth has been an enthusiastic witness for his Savior, Jesus Christ. Working with Jesus Festivals in Columbus, GA, he handed out Gospel tracts and held youth meetings in his parent's home. The spark of inspiration for Kenneth influencing children about the Gospel came from times when he would play the roles of various Biblical characters. Today, he is a key member of an International Missionary Outreach for Christ in Rewa, India. Kenneth prays that many children around the world will have the opportunity to read this book and receive the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. About the Illustrator The illustrator of 'Dolls for Regina', Gwen Hale, recently retired after 33 years of teaching in the Georgia Elementary School System (grades K, 1, 4, and 5). Gwen graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and received her masters from Tusculum College. She has 3 wonderful children and a grandbaby named Wyatt. God has graciously allowed her the opportunity to also serve as a Sunday School teacher for all ages during the past 39 years. Now, her greatest joy is serving on the mission field in various poverty-stricken schools and in other countries with her husband, Randy. Her desire is that many souls will be touched for Christ by reading this book.

Dolls for Regina' magnifies the Lord Jesus Christ. The soul of a child is larger than all known universes. This book promotes compassion for others. This story asks the children who have possessions to understand the desires of poor children around the world. Truly an excellent read.
