The cover is bound in rich, dark green cloth and is in good condition with minor scuffs at the bottom and top of the spine edges. The title, "Dissertations by Mr. Dooley, " is emblazoned in gold lettering as well as three golden owls decorations giving the front of the book a distinguished and eye-catching appearance.
