Putrid discharges from all mucous orifices of the body; cancer discharging a dark green, olive fluid; or discharges dark green, copious, acrid, fetid. Subjective.--Pains ulcerative, severe; come suddenly and disappear suddenly (Bell.); numbness of the skin, smarting, burning, tingling; pain, eating, gnawing; comes and goes suddenly. The acid applied to warts does not cease its destructive action, but continues until antidoted (like Ars.). Diseases.--Acne, eczema, impetigo, scabies, psoriasis, leprosy, prurigo, pityriasis, lupus, carbuncles, cancer, sloughing wounds, chronic ulcers, erysipelas, burns and scalds. Aggravation.--Touch. Amelioration..--Rest. Antidotes.--Cider vinegar, dilute, or glycerine locally; internally, a high potency of Carbolic acid. Temperament.--Nervo-bil. CAUSTICUM. Objective, --Burns; vesicles under prepuce, changing to ulcers. Phagedenic chancre, with jerking pain, watery, greenish, corroding discharge. Chancre with fungus excrescences, yellowish looking skin, more so about the temples; eruptions similar to the blisters from burns; chronic urticaria, appearing more fully in the fresh air. Pemphigus. Itching blotches, burning like nettle rash; eczema pustulosum. Large, jagged, non-pedunculated warts, appearing on any part of the body, even on eyelids. Injuries heal then break open again; especially is this seen in old scars. Varicose and fistulous ulcers. Phagedenic ulcers. Ulcers bleeding, with vesicles surrounding them; burning in the edges; discharge bloody, corroding, greenish or greyish.
