The boalt of the pref ent age, and particularly of this country, is liberali ty of fentiment, and candour to thofe who differ from us. Permit me then to avail myfelf of thefe difpofitions; and to hope, that while I endeavour, in truth and fincerity, to explain the commiflion which christ gave his Apoltles, as I underfiand it, I {hall efcape the cenfure of thole who differ from me in opinion, feeihg I take no greater lege in dilfenting from them than they do from me.
