In Dioxin, Agent Orange: The Facts, Michael Gough digests and analyzes the volumes of contradictory facts clouding this issue. From an unbiased perspective, he investigates such questions as: Does dioxin cause cancer? What are the short and, if any, long-term effects of exposure? Can it cause birth defects in children? Has it caused the deaths of Vietnam veterans?

Seller's Description:
Very good in good dust jacket. Dioxin, Agent Orange: The Facts by Michael Gough is a very rare hardcover edition, 2nd impression (June 1987), personally inscribed by the author. The inscription reads, "To...with best wishes, lots of thanks for various things, and highest regard. Michael Gough 1988." The book is in Very Good+ condition. The covers are in excellent shape with square corners and a lightly indented tail of the spine. The binding is square and tight, with only minor abrasion to the front flyleaf. The interior pages are clean and unmarked, aside from the author's inscription. The dust jacket is in Good+ condition, showing some shelf wear, a small 1/4-inch tear at the top of the front of the jacket, a chip at the tail of the spine (about 1/4 inch), and sunning along the spine. The jacket has NOT been price-clipped, with the original price of $17.95 intact at the top of the front insert flap. Despite minor flaws, the dust jacket complements the book's overall presentation. This book examines the development of dioxin, the challenges of understanding its effects on human health, and its environmental impact. The book will be carefully packaged using bubble wrap and a sturdy box for protection during shipping. A USPS electronic tracking number will be provided free of charge.
