This edition of Die Traumdeutung (in English: The Interpretation of Dreams ) contains the three original tables, and is composed and formatted in a manner designed for ease of reference. The author's original notes are placed at the end of the text, together with a bibliography which provides stunning insight into the existing psychological and popular literature of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Freud believed that certain characters in fiction were perfect expressions of dreams, and as such cited an eclectic range of written sources.
