Although this is a second read for me (30 years ago I read it for the first time), it remains an interesting and thought provoking book. It personalizes Michael and Lucifer and God the Father in such a way that they portray a normal family who has been tasked with the "good son" and the "bad son" in today's world. It is a bit of religion, sociology, and psychology and I relate to it very differently than I did 30 years ago. Not an easy read with a light hearted plot and fun characters! I gave it a 5 star rating because I am a committed Taylor Caldwell fan and am gathering a full compliment of her writings.
