The book is informational, but looking forward to the next addition. The seller on this book did not respond to my email inquiry looking for status due to the length of time it took to get to me. Alibirs was helpful in contacting the seller and getting the book to me shortly thereafter.

The "BIG BOOK" for Psych
This book is somewhat overwhelming with content, but it is the most complete book on psychological illnesses/disorders. It is a must for any psych student or professional!

Must-have!
This book is a must-have for all psychology graduate students as well as researchers and practitioners. It is not a bad idea for undergraduate students, either. Often referred to as the "bible" of psychology, it contains all the diagnoses most commonly accepted in the practice of psychology (and most commonly accepted by insurance companies for billing purposes) along with differential diagnosis trees to help the reader determine how to distinguish different diagnoses that are similar or share overlapping symptoms. There is a mini-version, which can be very helpful as a quick reference tool, though it lacks the differential diagnosis sections. If you are not willing to read this book from cover to cover, then you should probably not consider psychology as a profession.
