I had a copy that I gave to a friend I'm looking forward to reading through all of the different contributions and being inspired in my faith walk.

Deepen your spiritual life and begin to live it
This is a book that can take someone who is looking to deepen their spiritual life and begin to live it out. A great book to encourage and inspire you. The thing I like about this book is that it covers a wide area of one's spiritual life using selected writings from many different writers throughout the generations. It introduced me to some writers whom I had not previously read and sent me in search of more. Foster and Smith did a wonderful job of putting together writings by well known and some not so well known authors, but they all have one thing in common. They all encourage the reader to go deeper in their spiritual life, not only to learn about it, but to live it. The addition by the editors at the end of each selection to encourage and aide in the reader's quest to go deeper helps to make this a very useful book for taking what you read and putting it into practice.
