Fictional Account - Written Poorly
I haven't read the entire book - only excerpts published online but from just those few, I can tell you that her account is primarily fictional. I know because I was there - I am the "Jenny" who she writes of and we were friends as teens, long before the Family involvement.
No one doing serious research of the Family and the era should give any credence to her account unless there is additional validation of certain points of it from other sources.
Onjya and I lost track of each other after we left the Family but it looks as though she has found Christ and seeks redemption through her worship. Good for her except I wonder how she reconciles "Thou shalt not bear false witness" with her profiting both financially and in attention for this fabrication.
