The house they tried to rob turns out to be that of her father's, although neither one knows the other. After he lost his family, Mr. Carter adopted a boy named Robert, who has grown up to become a minister (John Bowers). Even though Robert has a sweetheart, he begins to take an interest in Nan, which verges on causing a scandal. The crook who killed the butler returns to get revenge on Nan and shoots her.
