The grandson of a Liberian Emissary to Germany and a German mother started with the love and priviledge of his Liberian familys position in Germany only to have to shift to near poverty when that part of his family had to leave Germany. The book covers the education and discrimination of a Black non-Arayan , the manipulation of the populace to hate all non-"arayans" especially Jews,some whom never laid eyes on a Jewish person, conversly it gives voice to the Anti-Hitler sentiments of many of the average German population . Covers the authors life during the bombing of Germany, his reunion and life with his Liberian relatives in their African homeland, his and his mothers immigration to the US his successful career as a journalist for Ebony magazine covering events in all parts of the globe.
