I don't know, for sure, but somehow this book felt easier to read and follow than Shadows At Nightfall. I don't know if it's because I am now familiar with the world and characters (though I didn't remember most of them) or if it was that this book really only follows one character in one timeline.
Thomas started the book being a bit whiny, but over the course of the story we learn his background and he grows.
Mia was fine, I don't really have thoughts about her, but I'd like to see more of her and see her grow.
George? I've questions. They can be boiled down to "How old is he? Can I have more of his backstory?"
