John Creswell is an excellent author in the area of research design, and this text is no exception to that statement. Mixed methodologies are sometimes quite difficult due to the requirement that the researcher be cognizant of both qualitative and quantitative methods, as well as the grey area where there is overlap. Another supper text that provides clear explanation, good examples, and can assist the student who wishes to deal with the complexities of this particular type of design.
