DENGUE FEVER is the story of an ugly disease swarming over a beautiful paradise. It is based on the actual outbreak of disease carried by a deadly monster, the mutated mosquito. The pandemic can only be stopped by a mad scientist and a burnt-out writer who carries the baggage of a recent drunk-driving arrest, a loveless marriage, and a string of experimental (and failed) cognitive therapies.
