Some Big Guns in some prominent denominations think that Romans' 7 and a messy, difficult Christian experience isn't "the way it should be." This book helps balance the rhetoric. If Romans' 7 isn't Paul's Christian experience, I don't know what to make of mine. If it IS, then he and I are friends, and some Big Guns may have to do some rewriting.
