Ezekiel and Revelations describe "The city of God" which measured "12,000 furlongs" - a mistranslation of "great cubits" and the city of God was Babylon where Ezekiel was held prisoner and shown the Temple of Marduk by the priests. Obviously the Earth was surveyed in the remote past and this book is an attempt to uncover some of the origins of the ancient measurement systems including the lost "great" and "sacred" cubits of the Bible and antiquity.
