The 1619 Project is not a work of history - it's a polemic written by journalist whose resentment and hatred towards the United States of America is manifestly obvious. Dr. Grabar dissects that work of fiction promoted as history by the New York Times, woke schools, and other woke organizations. She then destroys each section one-by-one - proving the entire project is a lie.
Since our kids are being fed a poisonous lie - Dr. Grabar's book is the antidote parents and patriots need to prevent schools from churning out more socialist/Marxist activists whose purpose in life is the destruction of America and Western Civilization - and their history and legacy.

A Book That Every American Should Read
Mary Grabar, Ph.D, is an accomplished scholar who has done a tremendous service in providing the public with a historically accurate and researched account of America's Colonial and Early Republic period. She not only "debunks" the so-called 1619 Project, but takes it apart, fact-by-fact, and along with her insight into how Jefferson, Lincoln and others were working carefully and thoughtfully to not just end slavery, but eradicate it, makes for captivating reading. It should be part of the required knowledge and testing criteria for U.S. citizenship, because it sets the facts on an even keel, and while it makes no apologies for America's faults, it provides the larger strategic context of the many challenges faced by the early Republic, and insight into how the office of the chief executive faces complex trade-offs in a effort to both reform, and to unify. This book will make you think, and it will provide a mature narrative of the nation that leads to mature politics, rather than the divisiveness of the 1619 program.
