If you are at all interested in the subject of ancient Egypt, this book is definitely for you. Written by one of the top Egyptologists in the world, it is full of great information. You get a thorough overview of mummification, burial rituals and coffin and tomb decoration. Not super in-depth, but enough for the average reader, and a good grounding for those who want more but are just getting started. The only thing I wish she had talked more about was the religious aspect.
