Very Good. Size: 15.5" X 11.5"; LIMITED FIRST EDITION. Complete collection of 40, loose leaf, full color prints from various famous artists. Each image is tipped in on its own respective page, measuring about 15 inches x 11 inches. Artists information is printed behind each tipped-in painting. Artwork is in vibrant color, ready to be framed, or kept safely in its binding, housed in its own slipcase. Artist works included are: Jaques-Luis, Jean-Auguste Dominique, Antoine-Jean Gros, Theodore Gericault, Eugene Delacroix, Jean-Baptist Camille, Theodore Rousseau, Jean-Francois Millet, Honore Daumer, Gustave Courbet, Edouard Manet, Claude Monet, Carmille Pissaro, Alfred Sisley, Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Paul Gaugin, Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Cezanne. The last item is a table of each of the art piece illustrations inside, laid in. Binding is a cream cloth with plain in original slipcase. Spine is covered in paper stamped in brown lettering. Prints are then housed within an inner binding of a stiff cream board covered in a protective parchment. Text within is written in French. No publish date is listed; likely mid 20th century. CONDITION: The art prints throughout are stunning and beautiful. Leaves have evenly toned and is free from foxing or creasing. Unmarked except each print is numbered on the back in pencil on the top left corner. The slipcase is good only with some wear and discoloration. An absolutely gorgeous set of prints.
