When funnyman and "Miami Herald" columnist Dave Barry asked readers about their least favorite tunes, the witty writer was flabbergasted by the response: more than 10,000 readers voted! Based on the results of this monumental survey, Barry has compiled a book filled with the lyrics of some of the worst songs ever written, including such special categories as "Teen Death Songs", "Songs That People Always Get Wrong", and, of course, "Weenie Music".

Do NOT read this book in bed, when you are trying to fall asleep. This isn't that kind of book. Read it when you need a good laugh, because that's what you are going to get, on every page!

if you love oldies....
If you love oldies, or love to make fun of oldies (mainly 60s rock & roll), you'll laugh, howl, guffaw, snort - and possibly wet your pants. Back in his Miami Herald column-writing days, Dave Barry asked his readers to nominate the worst songs and received a huge amount of mail in response, which became his inspiration for writing this book. Of course the lyrics to 60s r&r are ridiculous and he points that out in creative ways.
