I would give this book 3.5 stars if it was offered. It was a good, quick read, although there were some forgivable flaws. I wasn't particularly impressed by the main character and felt that she was a little snarky, but, hey, I have never been put into the position of a murdered father, a mother who committed suicide, and the ostracization of a small town. I tended to gloss over the romance part, which didn't ring quite true (although maybe that's just envy talking, haha)!
At any rate, it was worth my time and the plot twist was unexpected.
