I absolutely love Diane Wakoski's poems and have been enjoying them since I was about sixteen years of age. I have to say that up above it said "would you recommend this book to a friend" and I answered no. The truth is I would recommend it but I do not have any friends who read poetry so I have no one to reccomend it to. All I really have to say about Diane Wakoski is if you like poems about a jilted women, or very honest poems about women, you will like her work. I think that she appeals to every women at one point or another. And check out 'The Motorcycle Betrayal Poems' also by Diane Wakoski. In my opinion, that body of work is even better!!!!
