Damien Rocks!!
This latest installment in the Nightwalker series is set up so well, written so richly, and is paced so perfectly that it's the first time in my life I finished a book and was amazed that it was the end, and then, realized it was perfect, and instead of meandering around for a slow and methodical finish - it ends and the story is at a good stopping place - but I want more, and I want it now!!
She uses the richness of folklore, mythology and science to blend a very credible story line that remains readable and down to earth, and at the same time is a perfectly written piece of fiction. At least... well, I hope it's fiction.
