Dalamar the Dark is a wonderful book.. It takes you through the stages of a dark elf's life. It shows how hard at first he tried to remain faithful to the Gods of Good and his people, the Silvanesti Elves. But, then as the book goes on it shows his true loyalties, and that's what makes the book interesting. The book also goes into detail into the Towers of High Sorcery at Wayreth and the Conclave of Wizards which I never really understood before.
