This is by far one of the most detailed studies of Custer's battle at the Little Big Horn, and truly puts everything into a clear picture of what happened that day. Using multiple sources and first-person accounts, the author literally can tell to the minute how events unfolded. The author has studied topographical maps of the battle area, knows the various landmarks and how far apart they are, and how long it would take a cavalry troop to reach them -- it's a fascinating study for any reader seriously interested in the Little Big Horn battle.
