A tight, quite attractive first edition of this (to cite front flap copy) "Comprehensive View of the American Theatre beyond Broadway--the theatre of community groups" from the library of a notable Chicago participant, Joseph Hunley (1922-2016), actor and USO performer who went on to direct plays for Chicago's famed Goodman Theatre and founded a community theatre. Front flyleaf bears his large and bold inked "Josef Hunley / Goodman Theatre / Chicago, Illinois."
