Particular attention is paid to the selection, transmission and assessment of knowledge, and the relations between various stakeholders. Curriculum issues tend to be transdisciplinary; and different perspectives and methods have been applied and developed within curriculum studies. The contributors of the book consider both history and future of curriculum theory. Curriculum is presented and discussed in terms of content, pedagogy, and evaluation, with a number of examples being shared and pointing to the impact and implication of curriculum studies for educational practices. This approach is particularly relevant for teacher students, teachers, professors, and educational administrators.
