Hardcover with grey paper over boards and olive grey-green quarter cloth, titles card to upper spine, no jacket, 8vo. 2nd edition, august 1903. xvii (Yeats' preface) + 360pp. + publisher's notieces. VG-. 2/14" tear to quarter cloth along mid rear hinge with associated surface loss along 3 1/2" section on hinge (no effect on firm, square hinge) mild play and separation to lower 2" of backstrip along rear nhinge; wear to upper rear hinge and spine end with first character of title card torn away (no peeling to card along edges). Light play along ffep, slightly stronger toward lower end. Boards and cloth otherwise clean and sharp; binding strong and square; tear with no peeling to upper 2" of rear endpapers at upper gutter with no associated effects. Light uniform toning to clean, unmarked pages, stronger toning to endpapers (shadow as from former newsciplng to ffep). Save for wear along rear hige, overall VG+.
