An, exciting, well-written thriller about a modern-day slave trade, set in South Florida. I recognized many of the places she mentioned. She really captures the flavour of life in Fort Lauderdale. The story was riveting. I did guess correctly, early on, who the bad guy was, but it was still good to see him get what was coming to him. Some insights into Voodoo, Haitian culture, and the desperation of illegal immigrants to get into the U.S. As for the two guys who liked her, I would personally have chosen the other guy, but then, I'm not fond of men with ponytails.
