Kenji Yoshino has managed to perfectly fuse the memoir of his coming out with the facts of real civil rights law. He details the widespread use of forceful assimilation in the form of "covering".
This beautiful memoir bears an inspiring story which can be applied to anyone at some point in their life. I would highly recommend this for any mature reader who has had to at some point hide or "cover" a trait in order to fit in.
