Cordilleras means "mountain ranges," and this album was conceived as a celebration of the majestic mountain ranges that form the backbone of the American continent. The group -- with members from Mexico, Chile, Peru, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. -- Echoes of Incas plays Andes-inspired music combining native instruments (pan pipes, flutes, drums, and percussion) with Spanish guitars, keyboards, and nature sounds.
