It is in this perspective the present study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of garlic and chilli extracts on green aphids of tomato on 3 varieties namely: local variety, Roma variety and Money- market variety. A split-plot trial was set up with three varieties and two pesticides compared to the control treatment. Thus, the experimental design contained nine plots per block making a total of 27 plots for three replications. The results revealed that the bio-pesticides caused a mortality rate of 98.54% and 99.6% respectively for the chilli extract and the garlic extract. Observations on yield in t/ha indicate that P1 and P2 resulted in high yields compared to P0 for all three varieties. The treated plots had yields of 53.2 t/ha for P1 and 53.7 t/ha for P2, while the control plots had a yield of 13.8 t/ha.
