By many standards she would be a failed Southern Lady, but by her father's she is not. In this entertaining and interesting read, Florence King lays the groundwork for how she became the Florence King of today.
I have read little of her writing but found this to be an absorbing account of a child growing into an adult, showing how her parents, grandmother and others turned her into the person she is. I highly recommend this book.
