She emphasizes what you most likely already know, because you've heard it all before. That is the link between diet, weight and health, plus the importance of working hard to maintain strong finances and relationships. This is not a self-help book as such, and whilst not claiming to be an expert on anything, or offering any detailed solutions, she explains in layman terms about issues and conditions which many of us don't really understand. These include - antioxidants cholesterol high blood pressure free radicals why you need to maintain your muscle mass and she also offers advice on how to recognize if someone has a Stroke and what you can do if you suffer a Heart Attack and are alone. Jean suggests sensible small changes you can make in your life to improve the golden years. After all, personal wealth comes in many forms, and it's not always financial. The book ends with a light-hearted look back at how things have changed over the years based on two e-mails she has received and which highlight just how crazy the world has become.
