Hui Cheng of the Mainland China National Opera is a guest vocalist. Her wordless chants are an integral element of the sound design. Stramp's innovative recording techniques take the soundscapes to new heights. Cheng's vocal qualities and textures are reminiscent of Jim Cole's overtone singing and Tuvan throat singing.
