Lynn's R&B isn't high-tech urban contemporary, but rather recalls the organic soul music of the 1960s and 1970s. "When You Took Your Love From Me" and "Right Back In the Water" take us back to the type of rough-and-tumble soul that Memphis and Muscle Shoals were known for in the 1960s, while "Making Love to Me" has a 1970s-type flavor.
