I have received valuable assistance and advice from many of Colonel Saunderson's friends in private as well as in political life. Gartside Tipping; amongst the latter, the Right Hon. W. E. Macartney and Mr. J. B. Lonsdale, m.p., past and present secretaries of the Irish Unionist party in the House of Commons.
